You will need
  • For pompons:
  • - circles with a diameter of 5.5 cm, 7.5 cm with holes;
  • - yarn of white, red, yellow, green.
  • For penguins:
  • - felt yellow, red;
  • - beads (eyes);
  • - knitting hook 4 mm;
  • - glue
Instruction
1
Make pompons. For half a blank (cardboard or plastic template) for a large pompom, complete 50 white wraps. Then fill with colored thread both sides of this half of the template.
2
Fill the other half of the template with the same color. Fasten, tie and form into a ball, leaving the long ends where you tied the pompom. In a similar way, make the pompom smaller.
3
Connect the two pompons together so that the white panels are aligned. Use a pair of tweezers to create a heart shape on the white part of the head. Glue the eyes into the top of the "heart".
4
Fold the yellow felt (1.5 cm x 4 cm) in half and glue it inside the fold. Cut the folded felt into a beak and glue it to the head just below the depth of the "heart".
5
Trim the bottom of the penguin. Glue two oblong yellow legs to the resulting flat base. Add a pair of felt wings on either side of the bird, gluing them to the connection of the head and body so that they look out.
6
Tie a hat. Using a 4 mm hook, dial 4 air loops, connect into a ring using a connecting post.
7
Enter 5 double crochet stitches in the ring and end the row with a connecting stitch = 5 stitches. Row 1: air loop, * 1 double crochet, 2 double crochet in the next stitch of the previous row, perform * to * until the end of the row, connecting post = 7 stitches.
8
Row 2 starts with air loop and continue to work the same way as 1 row = 10 loops. Row 3: air loop, then we knit, as in the previous 2 rows = 15 loops.
9
Row 4: air loop, * 2 columns double crochet, 2 s double crochet in the next loop of the previous row, knit from * to * to the end, connecting post = 20 stitches. Row 5 is knitted in the same way as 4th row = 26 stitches.
10
Row 6: change the color of the yarn, * 3 columns double crochet, 2 double crochet stitches in the next loop of the previous row, knit from * to * to the end, connecting stitch = 32 stitches.
11
Row 7: change the thread color, * 5 double crochets, half table ik with two double crochets, double crochet, 2 double crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, 5 double crochet * knit * to * to the end, connecting post = 32 stitches.
12
Measure 3 pieces of yarn 20 cm long each. Pass them through the space between 2 columns with three crochets on each side of the headgear.
13
Fold in half, twist the resulting double pieces together to a length of 4 cm. Tie the ends of the tourniquet and cut. Sew a small pompom on top of the hat.
14
At your own discretion, instead of a hat crocheted, you can try to make a small hat from felt, embroidered with embroidery.
