Kefir cake with jam
We’ll prepare it for tea right now. The list of components is quite simple:
- Two eggs.
- Sugar - about a glass. You can take a little less if you have very sweet jam.
- Kefir - 1 glass. It is advisable to use kefir or yogurt of high fat content. However, in the absence of it, the 1% fat content of the fermented milk product is also perfect.
- Salt is literally on the tip of a knife.
- Baking powder - 1 standard small package.
- Flour premium - 1.5-2 cups. Pre-sift it to enrich it with oxygen and remove impregnations.
Turn on the oven and proceed to the base for the cake. Take the deep dishes. It can be a cup, pan or bowl.
Pour kefir. We break the eggs, with the help of a fork we mix these two components. Send jam and sugar here. Mix again until smooth. Add a pinch of salt. Next, pour one and a half cups of flour and baking powder. Again, mix the ingredients and see what consistency of the dough we got. We need to have a dough similar to sour cream with a fat content of 15-20%. It is viscous and not fluid. If your flour has a small amount of gluten, then the dough may remain liquid. Only then we introduce the remainder of the flour - another half a glass. And now, in any case, the dough is already suitable for baking a delicious home-made cake for tea drinking from it.
And now let's start baking a confectionery. Lubricate the form with vegetable oil and pour all the dough into it. Sent to a hot oven. At a temperature of 180-200 degrees, the cake will be ready in thirty to forty minutes. Check the readiness using a toothpick.
If you don’t have an oven, bake a cake in a multicooker. Lubricate the bowl with butter and spread the dough. Connect the machine to the network. Set the "Baking" mode. After 60 minutes, check availability. If necessary, put the “Baking” program for another 20-30 minutes.
Decorate the finished confectionery with any cream or glaze. It can be cut into cakes, soak them with jam or condensed milk.
